Exposure Therapy

The Exposure Therapy project fights against censorship of the female body, by putting nipple stickers Everywhere!

I send free stickers to Anyone Anywhere who asks for them, regardless of location or situation. In this way, Exposure Therapy has reached over 20 countries already.

Together we can create a more equal world, one nipple at a time.

Because the nipple is a clear illustration of inequality faced by women, we aim to “normalize the nipple” by putting nipple stickers everywhere.

Exposure Therapy exposes the false narrative that women’s bodies alone are offensive and dangerous. Fueled by fear, stigma, and misinformation, women learn that their bodies are sex itself—provocative, disorderly, and obscene. This mischaracterization results in a world that is unsafe and unequal for women.

We’ve had enough of this ridiculous body-shaming of women— let’s do something about it!

origin story

“I started this project in 2017 out of frustration with the way my body was being treated in America. I use the female body in my artwork, in a completely non-sexual way. When I tried to get my work printed, I was often refused service or even at times loudly shamed in front of other customers for submitting “pornography”. When I pressed for a reason for this categorization, I always received the same answer:  “it shows your nipples.”

I find it so troubling that I was being body-shamed when my only offense was being a woman.

The more I thought about it, the more ridiculous the situation seemed. I wanted to find a way to expose the hypocrisy— to fight against the double-standard and empower others to do the same. I also wanted the project to be fun, innocent, and inclusive. What could satisfy these needs better than stickers?”
